on dit:"Quelle nuit merveilleuse!"

English:
We are at the seaside.
It is summer.
The sea is blue.
The sky is clear blue.
The clouds are white.
The water is cold.
But the sun is very hot.
And when the night is clear...
...When we see the moon and the stars...
Ones says:  "What a wonderful night!"

My dedication to learning French

I have been having a lot of fun lately studying french.  I have been rigorously studying piano for a while now ( a few years) and I still love to play, and I will continue to practice piano and play everyday. I worked so hard to build up my piano skills, but now that I have the skills, now is the fun part because I can actually play the piano.  When I first started, I wanted to play so bad but I didn't have the skills, It took me more than a few years, but now I am really starting to get good at the piano. There is no limit to how much piano you can learn because there is always something new to learn.  The same is for French, I have been studying it a little bit here and there for a few years now, but I haven't really committed to learning it.  That all is about to change.  Now I am going to re-direct my focus and energy on learning french.

Just like me wanting to play piano, but not being able to because I didn't have the skills yet, I want to start speaking French now, but I dont have the skills yet.  I am now going to fully commit myself to learning French fluently.  I will study and practice everyday.  I will learn a little at a time, but I will learn at least something new each day, No matter what!

When I get going on something (or start learning a subject) I really dive into it and learn and study it like crazy.  I went through a phase where I studied physics all the time, I ended up reading about 30 physics books (im 30 out of 50 books on my way to a self-earned PhD in physics!). I went through a WWI History phase (I already learned about about this subject), I went through multiple video games phases (I am done wasting my time on video games, I want really skills, like speaking French and playing classical piano), website building phases (past few years, always going to continue building and expanding my websites, each new idea sparks new ideas), I went through a serious book writing phase ( the past year, thank god the book is finally done, I am very proud of my book), now I'm writing the app that goes with the book (app is almost ready for beta testing, very cool stuff)...

So I am just about all done with everything else I wanted to do. Next on the list to learn French.  I want to be able to read and write and speak French.  I love the challenge and difficulty French brings. This is not going to be easy, I know that, but I really want it, so I am going to keep at it and work very hard towards learning to speak French.  One thing I've learned from studying piano is the difficult things are hard at first, but with practice, they become easier.  I have spent tons on hours studying and practicing piano, and now I have really awesome piano playing skills, I have something cool to show for it (omg I can't wait to play piano for you, I will serenade you with sweet classical piano music, lol).

The same analogy is true for learning French.  It is hard, and is going to take lots of practice. (lol it took me over 1 hours to finally be able to say "Aujourd'hui est un jour merveilleux pour être un vie."  But now I have that sentence mastered)  I want more! LOL I can keep learning at this pace, memorizing at least 1 new sentence a day AND reviewing all sentences I've learned so far.  And you can help me with this.  So we are going to work on each sentence in the speech (there are about 50 sentences so far) until I learn to understand each word, memorize the spelling for each word, and remember how to speak each word.  We have a lot of work to do... I hope you are up for it....

I am so lucky to have you in my life Alexia, as my teacher, as my lover and soul-mate and best friend. And I am lucky that you want to help me learn French. And I'm lucky to have someone as brilliant and smart as you to talk to.  I want to talk to you about everything in the world. I want to talk to you in both French and English.  I am tried of just talking in English, I want to really talk to you in French.  This means I have a lot to learn and much work ahead of me... I am excited about this. Just wait you'll see ;)

Speaking French is just like playing the piano.  Each word and sentence (or notes and measure in music) takes careful practice to learn, to understand, to memorize and to pronounce.  Each phrase or paragraph (movement or song in music) takes a lot of work and practice to understand.

Speaking French is like making music with your mouth.  I find the sounds of French to be as soothing and pleasing as music to my ears.  Speaking French is like speaking poetic beautiful music... I can't wait to learn and speak for of it!

Now that I have my life coming together (thank god I finally got a job!), I am getting more stable, I am feeling good about what I am doing. I have my piano Music Theory Book behind me ( I am still actively selling my book and piano lessons), the app is in the works, and will promote and help the book alot. I am excited about this.

Now that I have everything behind me that I needed to accomplish, I can fully devote my mental capacity to learning French. I am excited about spending my free time practicing and learning French ( I have been really enjoying writing this speech to give to your mother) Besides, it is not like I have anything better to do with my free time... I dont waste my time watching TV or doing stupid stuff, I want to spend time building cool valuable skills, like French and Piano, and understand science and nature and society and history... I have never been so exited to learn something new.  I am finally ready for this challenge. Now is the time.

Thank-you Alexia for being a continual source of inspiration and strength for me.  And thank you for sticking with me through the tough times and darkest days of my life....  The worst is behind us and the best is yet to come! I want you in my future Alexia, I am in love with you, and I have been since we first met.  I am so excited about the next phase of our lives, the next step in our relationship, and the next period of our lives together....   I want to strengthen our relationship. I want to spend more time together and talk more.  I want to get to know each other better...  I want to be your everything.  I want to be your man.  I am so in love with you Alexia....
